How to balance a front load GE washer. I bought this from a friend. It does fine when it has nothing in it, but when I put a load in, it nearly jumps off the ground. I know now that there are some type of balancing things that go int the back (found those after the fact) but the bottom is balanced and all level..Please help if anyone can. I have been googling trying to solve my problem.. Thank you for any help :o)

I'm not aware of any "balance things that go in the back" as you put it. if by chance you are refering to the transportation/shipping bolts, they need to be removed when the unit is in use and only neccessary for moving the washer.
Try this first **UNPLUG the unit from the wall** before calling a tech.
# 1...make sure you use "HE" detergent in any front load washer, including this one.
You can pull off the bottom service panel (2 screws) on the front of the washer and look to see the shock absorber's or the concrete counter weights aren't broken. while you're at it, pull off the top and inspect the suspension springs are intact to the cabinet/chassis.
