Washer will suddenly shows the F11 error code...at times it may show the FdL code. The washer will then not finish no matter what I do. If I unplug the unit from the outlet that does not guarantee that when I plug it back in it will start up. Fifty percent of the time it still shows the F11 error. It can take hours to finally get the washer to cancel out so I can take the laundry out that has not been spun out. The F11 error code indicates a serial communication problem between the central control board and the motor control board. This can be caused by: A loose or failed wire harness connection between the central control board and the motor control board. A bad wire harness connection between the motor control board and the drive motor. A failed drive motor. A defective motor control board. A failure in the central control board. The diagnosis of this failure usually requires a technician. If you are able to unplug the washer and safely access the central control board and motor control board, you can check for a loose wire harness connection. Beyond that, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer. The location of the internal washer components and component access for the central control board and the motor control board are in the images below.
